121 Movers prides itself for professionalism and experience. We will do everything possible within the scope of our moving skills to transfer your belongings in safe and efficient manners. However, accidents occur, and as a licensed moving company we provide a complimentary cargo protection option for our customers. This basic coverage is required by California Public Utilities Commission, and provides coverage of 60 cents per pound, per damaged article. If additional coverage is desired, we encourage you to research outside insurance vendors for comprehensive moving insurance options.
Additionally, 121 Movers does not offer any coverage for items of exceptional value, such as small, expensive electronics (IPhones, IPods, IPads, cell phones, laptops, tablets etc.), jewelry, cash, collectible memorabilia, etc. Please arrange the transportation of these items personally, or notify the lead mover about each piece individually to ensure proper packaging. Please refer to our “Terms and Conditions” section for certain coverage exclusions.
What to do in case of damage?
We are accountable for our actions, and if you notice that something was damaged during the move, we urge you to report it to us as soon as possible to investigate the incident and find resolution. 121 Movers representative will assess the factors that lead to the accident, and offer to repair, replace, or compensate for damages at our discretion.
Business Liability Insurance
Some of the high-end apartment complexes, and most of the commercial offices require the certificate of business liability insurance. In order to obtain this certificate we need to communicate with our insurance vendor days before the actual move. The cost of certificate of insurance is $100 per insured building.
